Hello, I'm Joana 👋

It’s never an easy task to summarise your existence into a short biography but I will do my very best!

In short, I’m Joana, Portuguese and a Senior CSE at Tailify. But actually, I am a deeply complex human being, who is passionate about self-development, all things mental health, slightly too obsessed with understanding human behaviour and psychology and deeply interested in the human existence as a whole, oh and I also love to dance.

Who am I in a social setting? I am the kind of person who will get distracted by any animal I cross paths with and yell ’that’s a dog’ even though everyone already knows that is… indeed… a dog. I can’t help myself.

Why am I here? Tailify crossed paths with me in perfect timing, everything aligned just as it should. Here I thrive not just in a role I love, but mostly, in a place where the mutual support and culture focuses on empathy. When I joined, I knew I was in the right place for me, and well, I guess I was right. I can say I’m here because I enjoy being a part of a company that I can grow with and a part of a team that helps me get there.

What is my talent? Outside of work I am a dancer and yogi, you can find me meditating, healing through movement or trying to get those awesome yoga poses you see on Instagram - I will get there eventually!
