Say Hello to Samiđź‘‹
Tell us about you Sami, what drives you?
I am driven by learning new things and feeling connections with others. I love travelling, reading, meeting new people and learning about the different ways that people view the world. In my work I am driven by making a positive impact and feeling satisfied when you see results from all of your hard work.
Why did you join Tailify?
I have always had a fascination with understanding human behaviour, and was so intrigued by the way that Tailify takes such a data-driven and psychological approach to influencer marketing. I felt that the job perfectly encompassed my background in psychology and paid social, and the more I learnt about the company culture and values I just knew that Tailify was the perfect fit for me.
Tell us a fun fact about you?
I absolutely love dogs! I have a Springer Spaniel called Ava - she’s so dopey but also very intelligent as she has taught herself how to open doors.
What does Influence mean to you?
Influence is everywhere - It is the power to inspire and persuade others. I believe that influence comes with great responsibility, and if used in an open and authentic way it can have a really positive and life changing impact.
If you could give your younger self 1 piece of advice, what would it be?
To remember to stay more present in the moment and trust that everything will work out. Also to practice more gratitude as there is always something to be grateful for even during the hardest of times.
My secret passion is...?
I have recently discovered a secret love for karaoke - I am known to randomly sing songs (badly) out loud not knowing any of the lyrics so at least with karaoke you can at least get something right.
If you were a social media platform, which one would you be and why?
I would be Pinterest because I enjoy inspiring and spreading positivity to people. I also love a great vision board and Pinterest is my go to for inspiration.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I once played The Artful Dodger in the musical Oliver.
How do you think your colleagues will describe you in one year?
I would like to think that my colleagues would describe me as hard working, fun, passionate and positive.
